Install in five clear steps.

The preview is an unpacked extension, so Chrome requires Developer mode for installation.

  1. 01

    Download the release

Download the official Nora Wallet ZIP from this page and keep it in a folder you can find again.

  2. 02

    Extract the ZIP

Unzip the archive. The extracted folder should contain manifest.json, popup.html, and the bundled extension files.

  3. 03

    Open Chrome Extensions

Open chrome://extensions in Chrome, then enable Developer mode in the upper-right corner.

  4. 04

    Load the extracted folder

Select Load unpacked and choose the extracted folder itself—not the ZIP file and not a parent folder.

  5. 05

    Pin and verify Nora Wallet

Open the Extensions menu, pin Nora Wallet, then confirm the name and logo before creating or importing a wallet.

Before you install

Verify the package and protect your secrets.

Only download Nora Wallet from the official website. Never upload the ZIP to another website or share your recovery phrase, private key, or wallet password.

Is this the final store release?+

No. This is a developer preview for testing. The Chrome Web Store version will provide verified installation and automatic updates.
